The Natureduct© is not only a passageway: it is also a complex landscape to discover. The Natureduct© links topography, run-off waters, vegetation and 'accidents' of territories. Thus, the design becomes shelter for a diversity of fauna and flora. Water management is one of the key design elements of the structure which functions as a roof. The underbelly of the Natureduct© evoques a passage through earth. The Natureduct© is a mixed steel and concrete structure that traces four longitudinal nerves with a triangular section.
