“In Favour of Public Space: Ten Years of the European Prize for Urban Public Space” book published

The intention of the European Prize for Urban Public Space is to witness the tensions in the public space of Europe. Established in 2000 by the Centre for Contemporary Culture in Barcelona (CCCB) currently exists in collaboration with six other European institutions. This book is the first publication of this award, which celebrates its tenth edition. The book presents a selection of old and new projects winners and includes theoretical texts by Manuel de Solà-Morales, president of the 2008 edition, Dietmar Steiner, director of Architekturzentrum, Vienna and jury member since 2002, the architect and chairman of the 2010 jury, Rafael Moneo and David Bravo, secretary of the 2010 edition.
